Mr. Pankaj R. Dharkar the Director of Pankaj Dharkar and Associates is passionately involved in providing innovative and energy efficient Design Solutions for Building Services since more than three decades.
He is an engineering graduate of 1980 batch with distinction and specialization in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration from SGSITS, Indore, M.P. He started his career with Voltas Ltd as a Project Engineer in AC & R Division and worked for 9 years. He then spearheaded Dikshit Consultants and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. for 17 years & successfully designed and executed several projects in various fields single-handedly.
He has always been a dynamic member and contributed tremendously towards achieving the goals and visions of various Engineering Societies at National and International level. He is an active member of ASHRAE (American society of Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Industry) ISHARE (Indian Society of Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Industry) & IGBC (Indian Green Building Congress), AIACRA, IPA, FSAI (Fire and Security Association of India). Mr Pankaj R. Dharkar has published several articles in Journals and presented papers at conferences. He has been playing important role as chairman in organizing expositions like COMFEX & ACREX and also coordinated several seminars-workshops in the field of HVAC, Fire Safety, Plumbing etc in different parts of the country. He was also associated with School of Building Science and Technology (CEPT) at Ahmedabad, as a Visiting Faculty.
Anand Patel , mechanical engineer with two decades of experience in the field of MEP is, one of the key members of the organization, being in charge of the Mumbai Operations. His vast experience in design and engineering of building services spans the whole gamut of possibilities of constructed spaces including high rise residential buildings, mega townships, villa townships, low cost housing, hotels, hospitals, retail spaces, IT and ITES buildings, commercial offices space, industrial applications and various infrastructure projects.
He specializes in engineering of building services for high Rise buildings. His knowledge on building life safety is well acclaimed and has been consulted regularly by various authorities for framing the regulatory guidelines on the subject for city. He has invested in research and conceptualizing ways in which to positively impact the urban environment with grass rooted sustainable design. He is extremely passionate about creating the low cost services design without compromising day to day functionality of the building and thereby creating environment and frame work for social and low cost housing.
Rajnish Aggarwal an Engineering Graduate and a MBA from Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, has been working for over two decades in the field of building services and has vast exposure to various kinds of projects including Hotels, Institutional premises, Residential, Industries, Educational Institutes, Pharmaceutical units etc. He has served in some good project oriented organizations like Chicago Pneumatic (Atlas Copco), Otis Elevators and Hitachi Aircon, besides having obtained valuable experience in BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd) and DESU (Delhi Electricity Supply Undertaking).
Having designed and executed building services including Air-conditioning systems, Elevators & Escalators, Building Management Systems, Building Automation, Lighting control and automation, Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Systems, CCTV Surveillance Solutions, Access Control Solutions, Water Leak Detection, Intrusion Detection and Control, Public Address Systems, he has the necessary expertise for successful completion of wide variety of Projects, being in charge of Delhi operations of PDA.
Pankaj Tiwari, a Post graduate in Mechanical Engineering from I I T Kanpur, having a rich experience of 10 years with Voltas Ltd in HVAC&R division. He has to his credit, the establishment of BMS division at Tata Honeywell and working as Regional Sales Manager North for 9 years. His association of 14 years at high positions with reputed companies like SIS-a Security company, Systems Tek Delhi, and Building Efficiency division of Johnson Controls gave him a vast experience in the field of Integrated Building Management systems and Security systems.
In the year 2014 he shifted to Indore and became a key member of Pankaj Dharkar & Associates taking care of the central part of India. He is also involved with the IBMS and Security systems designing for the various ongoing projects of PDA. In 2012 ACRECONF at Delhi he also presented paper on “Protocol Syndrome in IBMS- way out”. Currently he is the President Elect ISHRAE Indore chapter and President FSAI M.P. Chapter. He is also a member of ASHRAE Western India Chapter.
Y S RAO did his Mechanical Engineering from Vizianagaram from Andhra Pradesh in the year 1987 and joined Radiant Fire Protection Engineers in the year 1988 and worked there for 12years as Site Engineer first, then Project Manager and subsequently Branch Manager. In the year 2000, he joined Safe world Systems Pvt. Ltd. – Ahmedabad and work there as Operating Manager for 7.5 years. He has vast experience of in the field of Fire Protection and detection systems designing ,Estimation ,tendering ,Specification for equipments& Installation, Quality control for various Projects of all applications like Industrial, Pharmacy, Textile, Software, shopping malls, Multiplex, Commercial, Hotels and Residential .Since 2008, he is associated with Pankaj Dharkar & Associates and is in charge of Fire Fighting, detection and protection division as an associate consultant for various projects all over India.
Yagnesh Thakkar being an Electrical Engineering graduate and having initial experience with Ahmedabad Electricity Company as site engineer gave him an additional edge in the competitive field. He was one of the partner in Contracting & Consulting company at Ahmedabad for 10 years where he handled Infra projects, high rise Residential towers, Jewellery show rooms, Commercial Buildings &offices ,Food& engineering Industries etc. During his tenure with SPMS Consultants as Sr. Project Manager for 10 years, he got well versed with electrical system designing , Estimation, tendering, Specification for equipment & Installation , Site supervision ,Quality check of contractor work for various applications. He has to his credit the designing& commissioning of 132 /66 KV-AIS, Hybrid switch yard & 3 MW to 8 MW coal base power plant / solar power plant of upto5 MW at different location of Gujarat & India. He is associated with Pankaj Dharkar & Associates since 2015 as a Senior Electrical Systems Designer & coordinator.
Ashu Gupta is associated with PDA as an expert in ‘Green Efficient Buildings’. After graduating as a Mechanical Engineer, he laid his hands on international projects in San Francisco, California and USA including several other Energy Modeling jobs around the world. He was nominated as the ASHRAE Young face of engineering after having been dedicatedly associated with organizations like ISHRAE, ASHRAE, ISLE, FSAI and IAEMP at the local as well as the national level. He has been involved with gigantic international & national projects which encircle Energy Modeling, LEED Certification (New & Existing Buildings) for IGBC, USGBC and ESTIDAMA, retro-commissioning and other building simulation. He has conducted ASHRAE Level I and Level II Energy Audits for Energy conservation opportunities in HVAC, Lighting, Building Envelope and Controls. He has experience in performing energy analysis for whole building using eQuest as well as using tools such as Ecotect & Dialux at initial stages of project.
